A modular system is a series of custom designed email modules that you can mix and match. They speed up email production, and are often managed in a visual editor so that non-developers and whole teams can work with them.
An email design system is an expanded modular system with additional deliverables. These can include documentation, a module or component library in PS or Figma, tutorials, sample templates, animation toolkits, or set-up in an email editor. Email design systems make people's work easier by simplifying production. They allow brands to quickly create more consistent output at scale. Modular and email systems make up the majority of our work, and we've been building them for over a decade.
