Happy Friday and Happy New Year! The ZURB team had a little time off for the holidays and are energized to start the new year strong. Hope you're year is off to a great start!

December was an exciting time in the ZURB office and we wanted to keep you up to date with all the action. The launch of Foundation for Apps and the latest release of Foundation for Sites were major accomplishments. It's been awesome to receive feedback, bug reports and most of all PRs from our amazing Foundation community all over the world. We got to launch a brand new framework, and better than that, we made our first steps to a full Foundation family.

In the coming months, we'll be releasing a new version of Foundation for Email (formally Ink) and a little after that a new version of Foundation for Sites. It makes me happy to see your great support and honest feedback on Twitter, the Forum, and Github. It keeps us motivated to continue making better tools for the web. Keep it coming, and here's to an exciting 2015! Now onto the news!

Foundation for Apps is here!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of the first front-end framework for building fully responsive web apps. Now it’s time for you to use the new flexbox based grid along with our Motion UI animation library, and create stateful web apps using Angular.

Foundation for Sites 5.5 is out!

But we havn't forgotten about Foundation for Sites. Last month we released 5.5 with lot’s & lot’s of amazing improvements. Check out how our kick ass community stepped up to make this a great release, how the Sites & Apps frameworks go well together, and some of what's in store for the future of Foundation for Sites.
