One of Australia’s pioneering climate change organisations,
The Carbon Pool, is sporting a sophisticated new brand
identity following a complete overhaul by Icon.Inc.
Launched at a recent international carbon-trading meeting
held in Cairns, the new Carbon Pool identity was designed to
position the company at the forefront of climate change
management.
The new identity uses a modern Australian colour palette,
new font and logo device to create a fresh and dynamic
identity for the two-year-old company.
Completed in just three weeks, the rebranding project
included design and printing of all corporate collateral and
delivery of new communications packs to key points in
Australia, in time for the carbon conference.
Once the new brand was approved, Icon designed an
eye-catching suite of corporate communications materials
including letterhead, business cards, corporate brochure,
fliers and presentation materials.
A highlight of the project was the use of highly specified
environment papers, inks and printing finishes in keeping with
The Carbon Pool’s strict environmental ethos and guidelines.
Icon.Inc senior account manager Rebekah Spencer said the
choice of environmentally friendly printers, papers and inks
added a further challenge to the project.
“A lot of effort went into sourcing production solutions
that were both beautiful and environmentally sustainable.
Working closely with Finsbury Green Printing, we settled on
Mohawk Options PC 100 stock and used simple, clever design
featuring two core colours within an Australian-themed colour
palette.”
